We say

Deep in the heart of the Scottish Highlands lies Great Glen Yurts. The site is located near the small village of Torlundy on a farm in a quiet riverside spot with spectacular views of the whole of the Nevis Range and beautiful natural woodland behind. Each yurt has unbelievably sensational views of the North Face of Ben Nevis and are also just a stone’s throw away from some of the best mountain bike tracks in the World at Nevis Range. The Great Glen farm has plenty of woodland and riverside walks providing a perfect hunting ground for wild foraging and spotting wildlife. The farm is bordered by a 3 mile stretch of the river Lochy, a famous salmon fishing river with many secluded swimming spots. Great Glen farms their very own Highland cows and Hebridean sheep, whilst also breeding adorable Highland Ponies, plus a herd of 14 beautiful riding horses of many different breeds. The farmyard would not be complete without a colourful array of chickens and the lovely Great Glen pet pig, "Nicoletta". The surrounding area includes wonderful Highland scenery of the Great Glen, Ben Nevis and Glen Nevis, Glenfinnan, Loch Linnhe and Glen Spean. The yurt camp makes a great base for exploring the local wilderness where you can enjoy great hillwalking, mountain biking, touring, kayaking and other activities.
