camping checklist

Cool camping checklist.  These are essential camping checklist one should have in order to have a wonderful camping experience.  A smart camper knows what are the essentials in a camping trip. Have a happy camping trip.

Essentials List

A Chopping board, is always useful, especially if you have bought a nice local fresh loaf, or have cooked a joint on the BBQ! Get a plastic one to save on weight and space!

Essentials checklist - an addition?

I would add bottles of bubbles for the children.

I have found this such a useful thing to have in my collection when it is really windy and hard to play or when they are wanting attention but you are busy cooking tea or whatever.

A great distraction for squabbling as well!!

Bubbles, a big no no around tents

Don't let children blow bubbles by your tent, if they pop on the tent fabric you may find a damp patch later.

Detergents allow water to penetrate grease and muck so it can be washed away. If  detergents  on to your tent it will do the same thing and let water in.

camping essentials

thanks for this comprehensive list but sadly, I cant see anything relating to solar power....you know cutting out the need for all those extra batteries by remembering your mini solar panel....well yes I know sunshine is often in short supply but aren't we campers and therefore optimists?!

cheers
