Missed Glasto? Check out our festivals-with-tickets-still-available round up

So Glastonbury is over for another year…what was that? You missed it? It’s not fair? Well it’s a good thing that the festival season is far from over then and there’s still plenty of Pimms drinking, tent pitching, grass rolling and welly wearing fun to be had.
We have combined all our powers to bring you our list of top 2010 Festivals that you still have time to get to. So no excuses, buy a ticket and go eat some strawberries, soak up the sun and dance like a maniac whilst you’ve still got the chance...
Shambala
The sun is shining and people are smiling. That can only mean one thing: Shambala must be imminently near! This is a teeny-tiny event where the line-up is kept super top-secret until the happy-campers arrive. Having said that, the community of festival-goers still have plenty to get excited about, with specially created themed areas ready for exploration. For a taste of something different in the festival world, this little beauty is definitely worth the visit.
Dates: 27th – 30th August 2010
Where: a top-secret site in Northampton (details with ticket purchase)
Price: £25 - £109
GrassRoots Festival
This is a real up and coming eco festival that celebrates the environment and the music at the same time. Intimate and welcoming, you’ll be chilled even if your beer isn’t. Ran by Muddy Promotions (the clue is in the name!), you can expect to have more than your fair share of mud fights in what is simply described as “the Muddy Field”. Still not convinced? Well how about a feast of entertainment such as Custard Pie Ninja’s, Puppet Shows, Silent Disco, 24-hour cinema and needless to say bucket loads of live music. Yes get packing…
Line up: Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Bedouin Soundclash, Jose Gonzalez, Natty, Tom Frager and Gwayav’, Rhombus in Dub, Isaac Evens, Lloyd Yates, Frankie Davies and more to be confirmed.
