Great campsite for afternoon arrivals to France

If you are looking for a campsite between Calais and Rouen, I can highly recommend the Camping Municipal in Eu. Campsite is in the grounds of the Chateau, has hot showers, shady plots and is cheap.

Follow the A26 south towards Rouen from Calais or Boulogne (or places north!), then take the road to Eu and Le Treport. Signposts to Camping Municipal should be clear once you get to the town centre, though don't miss the one that sends you along the side of the river below the chateau!

Town is a 10 minute walk with some lovely architecture and good restaurants. Highly recommended.

France (Limousin - La Creuse,

France (Limousin - La Creuse, approx one hr east of Limoges) near Bourganeuf. During Aug 10 we found an outstanding campsite with 25 pitches spread over 4 separate areas - immaculate facilities (including fridges which were most welcome) including 2 permanent tents, if you do not have your own. The owners (Andrew & Bernice) are welcoming, hospitable and run what is probably the best campsite my family have ever stayed at. The area is ideally situated for cycling on deserted lanes and forest tracks and enjoying a lovely part of France. A wonderful location for a holiday which we can't recommend highly enough. I very strongly recommend it for inclusion in the next edition of Cool Camping - more details at www.les-4-saisons.com

Reservations

Hello. I was wondering whether the campsite accepts telephone reservations or not? Is it possible just to turn up there at this time of year?
